Books: About ballet students

Recommended Posts

Guest Katalina

I really enjoy reading fictional books about ballet students. For example: Ballet Shoes , by Noel Streatfeild. I have read quite a bit already, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any new ones out that I might not have heard of. Any suggestions would be most appreciated, Thank You! :o

Welcome to Ballet Talk For Dancers, Katalina!

There are already several threads within the Ballet Books, Movies, Videos, Music, & Ballets forum! Take a look through all of the 16 pages of the forum, and see if there are any books you've not heard of before.

Here is a link to one of the threads in this forum that has plenty of suggestions!

I didn't see it in the link, but have you read "Corpse de Ballet : A Nine Muses Mystery"

by Ellen Pall? It's an okay murder mystery, but her descriptions of the ballet world are really quite good.

Oh, this is a really good book! Yes, it's a murder mystery, but it centers around the ballet world. I have yet to find another book like this on the market.

I wish I could but we've reorganized the forum, and now all of the books will be found on pages 2-10 of this forum. :)

All you have to do is click on the Ballet, Books, etc forum. At the top will be the page numbers and also one that lists what page you are on and an arrow down. Click that one and it'll take you to a box that says jump to page ? Put in page 2 and you'll see all the Books listings such as Books: Balanchine, Books: Novels......
