Toby
I'm reading the new novel (fiction) by Linda Fairstein about a ballerina murdered at Lincoln Center during a performance at the Met. It just came out this week, so you can probably find a copy at any bookstore. Not only does it go into the depths of the Met, the storyline also connects with the Broadway scene. I love murder mysteries, especially Linda Fairstein's. She has a personal love of ballet, and tries to include it (or mention of it) in her novels. Quote Link to comment
Fiz
It came out over here last week, Toby! I loved it! I had to eat chocolates while I read it! Ballet, crime, chocolates = heaven! I love Linda Fairstein too. The story is heavily based on that unfortunate girl violinist who was murdered at the Met in the 1980's by a stagehand who had taken a fancy to her which she did not share and Ms Fairstein pays tribute to this case at the end of the novel Quote Link to comment
