Hey all!

I was wondering if non-hyperextended dancers can develop hyperextensions. If you can, how can you? I would LOVE to have hyperextensions as I think they show good lines in your legs. Thanks!

Dani, hyperextension is a structural thing. You can't "develop" it. It's bone structure. Sorry

How can you exactly tell if you're hyperextended? Is it something that a teacher would tell you?

Yes, your teacher should tell you, as sometimes it takes some adjustment in your alignment.
