I moved this to YD, as it is a technique question.

 

Practice balancing on pointe at the barre. Treat the barre as a partner, hold, find the balance, let go. Just like you do in your technique classes and pointe classes :)

Just make sure that you lift out og your legs, hold your stomach, close your ribs, turn out, and make sure that you are all the way up on your box. Use your partner as well for balance, if you push one way, because of the resistance it will make your body go the other way enabling you to go to the spot where you can balance best :)
