VBTClara05
This may sound a little silly, but how do you stretch your knees? My knees are so tight, I can't even kick my butt with my foot! Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted April 1, 2006 Administrators Report Share Posted April 1, 2006 It sounds to me like it is your quads that are tight. Unless there is an injury, knees are not usually "tight". However, bending the knee to the extreme of getting the foot to the butt is a quad stretch. So, just doing it correctly can help. Stand parallel facing the barre. Bend one knee bring the foot towards the derrière, take the top of the foot in your hand, (right foot to right hand) and pull the foot towards the derrière. Be very sure to stand totally straight, don't let the pelvis go back, and keep the knees together. Also be sure you don't sickle the foot that is in your hand. Quote Link to comment
