hotchocolategirl
Hi everyone, I have very hyperextended legs and I have trouble getting my weight to the correct part of my foot. When I stand in first or fifth with both feet on the ground, I have my weight correctly placed over the ###### of my feet. When I do a tendu my weight either shifts into the heel of my standing foot or if I try to stay over the ball of my foot my whole upper body tilts toward the standing leg. Thanks Edited April 2, 2006 by hotchocolategirl Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted April 2, 2006 Administrators Report Share Posted April 2, 2006 Sounds like you are pushing back into your hyperextension, or, when shifting to one foot perhaps just going too far. The body will not tilt anywhere without you allowing it to do that. Move the weight only as much as it needs to be moved to be on balance on one leg and maintain your alignment. Quote Link to comment
