Guest Danielle!
So I just called a dance studio asking if they had teen beginner ballet classes. The lady said yes they did and its on tuesdays, thursdays etc. While she was telling me she paused and said to a girl in the studio"Anna, are you going to be here tomorrow?" She proceeded to tell me about the classes etc. Toward the end she said Your teacher might be a fourteen year old. . I said okay and then we hung up. I can't decide, do I show up tomorrow and hope its not a Dolly dinkle school or should I just not go at all? Link to comment
vrsfanatic
IMO...run in the other direction as quickly as you can. No 14 year old is experienced enough to teach any level of ballet. Do not waste your money! Link to comment
Mel Johnson
I'll second that motion. Link to comment

Skye90
I don't know how old you are (obviously between 13 - 16) but while a 14 year old certainly couldn't teach a class (!!!) it would also be horrible for you to be taught by one. How humiliating.. .you need someone with expereince, someone who you trust and admire. Link to comment
Pirouette30808
If there's a fourteen year old teaching, you definately know it's a Dinkle. Any sensible person would know not to show up! My advice to you is to find another school! Link to comment
sugarplum239
I don't know fo sure but I think that if it is a fourteen-year-old teaching, the studio is not serious about teaching ballet Link to comment
