vrsfanatic
Arabesque requires a lot of work with the back and the lift of the working leg. Lay on the floor, face down, hands clasped behind the head. Lift upward from the elbows, legs straight, buttock engaged, hips and legs remain on the floor. Also you may lift one leg at a time off the floor, stretched legs and feet, as high as you can without rolling to one side or the other. Both stretches are very useful, but you asking your teacher for further help may be the most productive path to a better arabesque. Quote Link to comment
