On break

You can always give yourself a rudimentary barre at home and make sure that you don't do stretches before you are decently warmed up, say, after grands battements.

When I'm on break I stretch everyday for about 30 minutes; and I do basic barre exercises. Plies, tendus, rond de jambes, etc. I also do ankle circles and sets of flex/pointing.

i did those during my studio's summer break and I think they really helped me. :wacko: My muscles didn't get a summer break, that's for sure. :D
