Help on free enchainment

Recommended Posts

My DD took her Intermediate on Monday - the free enchainment was quite straightforward and the examiner gave lots of help. It was:

Start R foot behind in 5th. 4 counts intro. Two jeté ordinaire derrière, arms demi bras, two coupé fouetté racourcis, coupé chassé pas de bourée under (to downstage L), arms 4th R arm raised. Finish en face ready to repeat to other side.

Music was a lively 2/4.

Hope this helps.

"coupé fouetté racourcis"

What's this? :o

Coupe ballonne. Can be done with a saute or on to pointe.

Pas ballonne can be done as saute, releve, or hops en pointe.

And now, I'm sure someone will come in and make my terminology exact! (please do!) :o
