MJ Posted July 30, 2007 Author Report Share Posted July 30, 2007 Knock knock!!Just a side note--air conditioning is also VERY un-environmentally friendly...turning the thermostat even one or two degrees up can save a huge amount of carbon dioxide from going into the atmosphere . I still think it's a necessary evil for the reasons mentioned above, but concern for the planet is, imho, a VERY compelling reason to use it in moderation! I can think of several sources for electricity that are carbon neutral. Hydro, Nuke-a leer, geothermal, solar, hamster wheels, etc Quote Link to comment

Is your local power utility driven by fossil fuels? Then that's a carbon printer, but no fire, no carbon. Quote Link to comment
