where should your eyes be looking?

In croisse, (ex. simple tendu devant, croisse) where should the eyes be looking? in the mirror at your self? at your hand thats in second position? I'm not sure if it would make a difference but for the Balanchine Technique.

Ideally, the eyes should be going toward the direction that the front of the face is pointing, but a quick-check in the mirror isn't out of order. RAD refers to it as "eye line".
