DVD/Videos: Identifying a Video

Recommended Posts

I was recently sent a file by a friend of mine asking if I had a copy of a video she has a clip from but wants the whole thing.

Looking at it, I have absolutely no idea. :D It has audio, which places it from the US or Canada.

I've made up a thumbnail sheet which can be viewed here:

I've offered to ask here since so many here are very well versed in essentially every aspect of dance. If anyone can identify this video, please let me know so I can pass on details.

Thanks!

No clue, Dave. Thank heavens! :o Whatever it is, it looks quite dreadful, starting with the teacher's outfit. :D

Yes, I was a bit dubious about that as well, though I have the sneaking suspicion the rather odd attire and cheesy graphics suggest this may be a bit older, perhaps late 1980s or early 1990s, when such style was ... er, more 'in'. :o

I asked my friend where she got it from and she responded that it had been emailed to her daughter a while ago and they can't remember who gave it to them. The clip source data (it's a RealVideo file) says the author was www.ballet4boys.co.uk and dates from 2004, but that site is "under construction", so no joy there and I suspect the original clip is a bit older than 2004...

If anyone wants the clip itself, say so and I'll post a link - it's about 4Mb.

Don't want the clip- just saying that it looks like some children's show from the 1980s. :D
