KatieScarlett
My DD is doing a pas de deux for the Nutcracker (Columbina doll) Her and her partner are both 12. They do a number of turns and lifts. Her partner has not dealt with a tutu in a performance before. Would it be helpful to have a practice tutu, or would that be an unnecesary expense. Thanks! Mel Johnson
In that particular case, yes. The practice tutu should be as much like the stage version as possible in terms of length and rise. Quote Link to comment
Guest pink tights
Most companies/schools have rehearsal tutu's available to the students. If not, does wardrobe have an old tutu that might not be "performance worthy"? If so, ask if it can be used for rehearsals...no need to purchase! Quote Link to comment
