Hamorah
Dancebooks just notified me that a new DVD is out of Ashton's Sylvia, which the Royal Ballet revived a couple of years ago. It's with Darcey Bussel and Robert Boole. I've ordered it and should receive it in a few days, so I'll let you know what it's like. Now if only they would release Les Patineurs, Enigma Variations and Two Pigeons on DVD. Quote Link to comment
Gina Ness
"Two Pigeons" with Lynn Seymour and Christopher Gable...sigh... Quote Link to comment
Hamorah
Oh yes that would be an addition to my collection! Even more so I'd like to see Enigma Variations with Beriosova............. I have a DVD of the Soldiers Tale which is totally unremarkable except for a loooong (several minutes long) solo by my favourite ballerina Beriosova. She was glorious and her technique seems to belong to what we're used to seeing nowadays rather than what we would expect from the 60's. Quote Link to comment
