Ed McPherson
Hello men, I heard through the grape vine that AGMA had some new auditions posted. Sure enough, one that is especially fitting for BTFD and the mens fourm. Details can be found at the AMGA website, http://www.musicalartists.org/ their contracts are listed so you can check out the details of the working conditions for dancers, I havent looked at the Mets contract in awhile. When I last checked I think the dancers were compensated around $1,000/wk. for weekly, hourly used to be around $40. I've heard from a friend that is on the Board of Governors that the new Met contract has a sweet clause, gives dancers twice the hourly rate for evening rehearsals, tech week never sounded so great eh? Either that, or under rehearsed, hehe. Anyways, if you attend tell us about it. MJ
I'm tempted to audition just for the sake of it. My real job is too demanding on my schedule to take more than a few days off. Quote Link to comment
