Eternal
Hi! It's been a while since I posted. I have a question on pirouettes. So, I have been able to do double pirouettes for a while. But now I lost them. I don't know what's wrong, and my teacher hasn't been correcting me at all. I don't know what to do to improve, and I only have until April to get it perfectly done. Thanks! Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted January 26, 2008 Administrators Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 Eternal, you probably had a growth spurt, which can throw your center off. Just be patient and keep working, but work from the basics. In other words, go back to the placement in the preparation, the turning position, then the position on relevé, then take the relevé around the corner with 1/4 turn, then 1/2 when the 1/4 is solid, and proceed from there. One step at a time, and don't go on until you have each step replaced and recentered and balanced. Quote Link to comment
