Anyone watch last night? (sorry if this is in the wrong place, but because it's not a ballet show I didnt but it in that category) It's obviously mostly hip-hop, but I loved it. I love watching dancing, any way shape or form!

 

I thought that last group (Kama something) and the group in the all black sweatsuits with the unbrellas were great!

I can't stand hip hop or the music they dance to. I watched a little of it, and the dancing seemed more like aerobics and gymnastics than art. I just don't get it.

I absolutely love it. Randy is showcasing good, clean hip hop dance.

 

Kaba Modern are wonderful. Iconic has a unique style - I like them but I doubt they can last much longer. JabbaWockeeZ had me in tears - I was happy to see the judges were also in tears. These are kids who have no formal training, and do not live in the same state - and yet love what they are doing so much that they train separately and find a way to get together frequently. PLUS the choreography was wonderful.

 

What several of the teams are doing I classify as art - "products of human creativity". The rest leave me cold - but they'll be weeded out soon enough.
