Sartorius Stretches

pinkpineapple, that muscle works and stretches with almost everything you do in ballet! It works in rotation and extension in about everything you do. Why do you feel that you need to isolate and stretch this particular muscle? It gets a lot of stretching on a daily basis if you are in classes! :)

Not that I know of. You probably just did something different in classes, or worked differently. Sore muscles are a pretty normal part of life in the ballet world. :)

I'm going to assume that this is the lower part of the muscle, which is actually quite long. Any of the quad stretches will help that. It's not actually one of the quads, but it runs right across them, so that might help.
