homer4263
I am thirteen this year and am doing 5 days a week an hour in a half per day. I also (occasionaly) Take private lessons and go into the city for open classes as well. I read many blogs and magazines saying if i were serious i should be going 6 days a week 3 hours a day. Is this true? If so, i am a serious dancer and am willing to do that many hours. I just am not sure if i am actually able to do that and i'm worried i could burn out. Quote Link to comment

You still have a year before that kind of classload starts being important. And don't try to transition to it all at once. A lot has to do with where you are and how much and what quality training you are able to get. Quote Link to comment
