homer4263
I always wear leather ballet slippers, but any time i go to auditions i see all the kids wearing canvas. Am i missing something????? Is there really such a big difference???? Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
Consensus here has, over the years, run to "no". Wear what you feel comfortable wearing, when it comes to ballet slippers. Quote Link to comment
maddison
canvas is easier to work in and doesn't stick to floors. Leather makes you wor harder, but at my studio it makes it impossible to turn! luv ya- maddielou Quote Link to comment
scdancergal1
It really depends on what your teacher prefers but if your comfortable in leather thats great, dont let the girls who wear canvis bother you however if you go to a SI or another school they may require something difrent so dont be surprised if they ask you to change!
