Im currently at a RAD trained school but I want to move schools thats ISTD trained, is there much of a difference will I struggle with it alot and have to go back a few grades? Mel Johnson Posted August 1, 2008 Report Share Posted August 1, 2008 Probably not; you'll find some different nomenclature, and a few differing ways of doing some steps, but whether you do ISTD Imperial syllabus or ISTD Cecchetti, the change won't be very jarring. Quote Link to comment

Things may have different names, and there will be some different ways of doing steps, as in a pas de basque glissé, where there will either be fewer or more coupés than you're used to in RAD, but no great horrors.
