I have progressed alot since then Im on pointe and catching up with people my own age now. I want to go to dance collage and become a dance teacher. Lexie Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 I've danced since I was 7 or 8 but just last year (I was 13) moved to a better ballet school and became serious about dance. pointe200 Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 I started quite late (13), I'm 14 now and want to be a dancer more than anything! I've been on pointe for a while, and am catching up (but of course I'd be careful not to try and catch up too fast, as that could be dangerous). Good Luck!!! Quote Link to comment

I didn't start dancing until I was 14 and I've only been dancing for two years now. I want to become a professional ballerina/dancer. I started dancing when I was almost fourteen and about to be a freshman in high school. This year will be my senior year, so I am starting my fourth year of dancing and third year of pointe. I started at a small studio with quite good training and then switched to a more serious studio. This past summer I danced at Joffrey and this year I will be in my studio's pre-professional program. It's not to say that I can get into a company, I have a lot more work to do, but if you work hard enough for it it can happen. Good luck! Quote Link to comment

Now I'm almost 15 (almost 16) and go to a pre-pro studio. i have attended summer programs at CPYB, Ballet Chicago and Kirov Academy of Ballet.
