Tutulicous
I have applied to study dance at the University of Cape Town. I live in the Gauteng area, so to fly down for the audition would cost a small fortune. After much convincing, I have been given permission to audition by video or dvd. They gave me brief guidlines as to length and format of my video audition and in it I have to show Classical Ballet, Contemporary, and African Dance (and all that in only a half- hour). I was wondering if any one has any tips concerning video auditioning? Especially concerning camera angle, location (studio, stage, or a bit of both), dress attire, should I wear make-up, etc. Any advice would be much appreciated! Link to comment
