miss ashley
I know this might sound weird, but how do you do fouettes en pointe? Almost everyone in my class can do them. I never learned how. Please help! Quote Link to comment
Clara 76
Can you do fouettes on demi-pointe in flat shoes? Quote Link to comment

Clara 76
Well then, that's where you have to start! Don't worry- you'll get them as long as you're getting good training. Talk to your teacher if you're worried. I'm sure she will have some good ideas. Quote Link to comment
star13
Start at the barre on demi. Start in passe, the extend your leg to the front with a deep plié. Then straiten your leg to relevé and carry your leg to the side (at the same time). Go back to passe and repeat. Basically, go through the motions of fouettés, but at the barre. Once you build up strength, ask your instructor if you can try them in the center and have her/him help you! Hope this helps! Quote Link to comment
