balletislove20
Next week I have an audition for the dance major at FSU. I want to be a professional dancer, so I have applied to various schools in Florida as a dance major so I can reach my dreams! I have never been to big audition like this, and I'm really nervous! I gues it's natural to be nervous, but does anyone have tips for suggestions for auditions? My technique at barre is actually good, but at center, I still haven't been exposed to really complicated stuff, so I'm afraid I won't know something and mess up. I have tools like books and DVDS so I am familiarizing myself with terms and movements that are complicated, regardless I'm still nervous! Link to comment
Mel Johnson
An audition of this sort is simply another class from a teacher you haven't had before. Approaching it from that angle will probably be calming to your nerves. Link to comment
