Mel Johnson
This answer may seem obvious, but sometimes the answers to our questions are staring us right in the face, and we can't see them because we're too close. If you aren't closing in fifth, work on that. There is no substitute for work! Your teacher can tell you to do something, but in the end, you're the one who decides what to do with your body. Practice the tendus more slowly, making sure that you close fifth EVERY time. Then, when you've got that down, practice speeding up. This course of action won't even produce permanent results by the end of the week, but you've got to start somewhere. You are on a long voyage to accuracy and precision of execution. Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted November 17, 2008 Administrators Report Share Posted November 17, 2008 And be VERY sure that you are not sitting in your legs. If your weight is back and you are not lifted out of your thighs, there is no way you get to 5th. Quote Link to comment
