DVD/Videos: Finding recent ballets

I'm a fan of ballet, and I enjoy watching ballet on DVD, but it seems as though there are very few RECENT performances available on DVD and Blu-ray.

 

Why can't I see a Gillian Murphy, Julie Kent, Ashley Bounder, Wendy Whelan, Xiomara Reyes, Michelle Wiles and Veronika Part in high definition? Why are there so many Opera DVDs of recent performances, but very few recent performances of American Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet and New York City Ballet? I would be satisfied with DVD.
