My friend is one year older than me, and she already has an extension up to her head !!! She also has very good placment, and her turnout is unbelievable ! I know that this is partly natural, but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help MY extension. I am over all flexible, but I have trouble with my side split. I was wondering if this had anything to do with my extension and turnout (my turnout which I lack!) . I also have tight hip flexers, so it is hard for me to get my extension directly to the side. I just started PT for that though, so that should help. I almost have a four-pack, so it is not like I am totally lacking in the ab department. My legs are also pretty strong, so I just really want to know what you guys think I should work on! I'd really appreciate it! Quote Link to comment

All you have to do to find them is click the "Search" tag in the headline of this page, make your search term "extension", click "perform search", and you'll have them. That being said, you are probably being restricted in your extension by your turnout and hip flexor problems. Time and continued work will set things right. Quote Link to comment
