Balletbabe32
I'm looking for access (digital or otherwise) to playbills or posters, or any other similar materials from pre-WWII Balanchine works, as the title says. Specifically regarding Serenade but I'll take anything. I've looked around the NYCB website, which has a section for researchers, as well as the arts section of the NY Public Library and the Robbins Dance Archive section. Should I email the archivist from the NYCB website? Quote Link to comment
Mel Johnson
That's one place I would try, but I'd first try to exhaust the catalogue of the NYPL. It might give you a framework to stash any stray "unknowns" from NYCB archives. PS. I'd also give the New-York Historical Society a try. They have all sorts of unsuspected collections there.
