skaballet
The Wall Street Journal did a nice article on Darci Kistler retiring. Not sure if you can access it if you don't have a membership though. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405...eTabs%3Darticle Quote Link to comment
Farrell Fan
Thanks for the link, Sarah. The article, by Toni Bentley, like much of that former NYCB dancer's writing, is brilliant. It's a privilege to read it. Quote Link to comment
ballerinepetite
such an amazing woman. She trained at my current studio when she was little and she's been a guest teacher as well, so sad to see her retire. Quote Link to comment
MBF
What a wonderful article. To be retiring from performing at the age of 46 is just amazing. I think 46 is like 106 in dancer years lol. A long and prestigious career, I feel fortunate to have seen Ms Kistler perform in Romeo and Juliet in Saratoga (Summer 2006'ish). Quote Link to comment
tangerinetwist
Thank you for posting the link. I saw her perform as Sugarplum Fairy in a guest appearance several years ago. Quote Link to comment
