Houston Ballet needs 1-2 more boys for Nutcracker

They're a little short on boys this year, so if you live in the Houston area and would like your son to participate, just give Houston Ballet a call. Ask the operator to connect you to the academy and tell them your son would like to audition for a role in Nutcracker this year. Boys need to be 8+ years old and shorter than 5 feet tall. Ballet experience isn't required-- they'll audition boys with experience in musical theater or non-ballet forms of dance.

 

For my older son, this will be his 4th year to participate; it's my younger son's 2nd year. My younger son is not a ballet kind of guy-- he's more into hip-hop and musical theater-- but he *loves* being part of the nutcracker experience!
