Private ballet lessons in NYC

Hi - I was jus wondering what the going rate is for private ballet lessons in nyc? Does anyone know of anyone in nyc who provides ballet privates?

Thanks Mel...My DD is a current teacher/dancer who also does private coaching in NYC. Her last coaching she was paid 75$ per hour.

DD gets a discount rate on studio rentals..

Dd takes privates in NYC & has an amazing teacher. We pay $100 an hour plus the rental space.

My daughter has taken from Emilietta Ettlin at Steps on Broadway and has learned an incredible amount and has benefitted from her upbeat, positive attitude. She most definitely improved my daughter's technique and increased her confidence.

I know that Leslie Browne (ABT, and the movie The Turning Point) gives privates at STEPS. She teaches at the year round program there so contact the "School At Steps" if you are interested and not "STEPS on Broadway". Although in the same building, they are two separate entities. My dd took group classes with Leslie and improved very much. We didn't have privates with her so I can't quote you a price but many girls in the group class do take privates with her all seem very happy.
