Summmer Intensives

I would really like to audition for summer intensives. The problem is my dance school holds a 3 week intenisive every July. So I can't go anywhere else then. I am having problems finding summer intensives for August. Another problem I am having is that all the intensives are auditions for a full year program which I am not intrested in at the moment. Any ideas wouls be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Are there no students from your school who attend SI programs outside of your own school? Why do you have to be there for that 3 weeks if you could go to a 5 or 6 week program somewhere else and gain lots of different experiences? And the schools that are also auditioning for year round still accept students for summer only. Summer programs are summer programs. If you want to be considered for year round, fine, but you do not have to do that.

Students are allowed to attend summer intenisves in July but I am going to be doing a exam then and need the training from my ballet teacher. Are there any intensives in August?

I'm auditioning for the following summer intensives: Kansas City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Ballet Chicago, ABT, Houston Ballet, Ballet West, Point Park University. I'm also sending in a video to Bossov Ballet in Maine and the forms to CPYB and to the Boston Conservatory.

I was wondernig if there were other August courses besides CPYB because I went last year, but I got injured there, so I don't really want to go there again.
