actionwoman
I'm currently living in Hong Kong and going to be starting grade 3 RAD in a couple of weeks. I've been taking ballet since March (and also took about six months of Vaganova about 20 years ago), so I'm definitely a beginner. The class I'm taking now is a mix of ages, from 14 to 60, and anyone can take the exams if the teacher feels they're ready. Anyway, I'm moving back to NYC in September and I've looked all over for a RAD or Cecchetti type of class, but can't find anything like that for adults. I'd be willing to travel to Long Island or NJ (anyplace I can get to within an hour by train). Amy PS - I wonder if we could get a group of students together who want such courses and try to find someone to teach us? It might be tough with the different levels, but I imagine that there would be quite a few adults who would love such a class. Quote Link to comment
