dancingjon
Hi Guys, A recent post has brought a very interesting and personal topic up in conversation. The use of colour in your dancewear whether that be in a ballet class, jazz, tap, street... anything. If I had my way I would literally have a different brightly coloured top, leotard, tights or shorts etc for every class. This is a very expressive art form, and although we should be portraying our emotions through movement and dance, do you not feel for at least class work that the usual white and black look is a little out!? If you look on the internet at images of for example, "ballet company class", you don't see a bunch of guys in white leotards and black tights, you see a whole array of colour, and personality. I would love to hear everyone's views on this. Dancing Jon Edited July 22, 2011 by dancingjon Link to comment
