Lily222
Sorry if I posted this in the wrong topic, I am new! I couldn't find anything like this when I searched it. I am fifteen, and had to get a new pair of ballet shoes because I lost my old ones. The new ones are nice (Bloch brand), except when I point my feet, there is a tiny bit of extra shoe that bothers me when I'm in class. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Will just wearing them for a period of time make them shrink or conform to my foot- how long will that take? Thanks so much! Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted November 4, 2011 Administrators Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 Welcome to Ballet Talk for Dancers, liilyy. It sounds like the shoes are just a tad too big, and I'm afraid there is really nothing you can do about that. You can't shrink leather, and they won't get smaller with wearing. If anything they will stretch a bit. It's really important to have the shoes fit well, so maybe you could get a new pair now, and, if you are as young as I think you are, keep these for when you have grown more. Quote Link to comment
