kwdancer13
I'm sure by now many have heard but Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev will be leaving the Bolshoi for The Mikhailovsky Theater, now under the artistic direction of Nacho Duato. This seems especially interesting as David Hallberg just premiered with the Bolshoi and many were looking forward to a partnership between Osipova and Hallberg. Both cited a desire for more artistic freedom and different repertoire. With the defection of some other stars, like Leonid Sarafanov, who knows who the next might be! Quote Link to comment

Arizona Native
Guesting opportunities expanded, perhaps? He guests there, she guests with the Bolshoi, they guest with ABT? It will be interesting to see Osipova in Duato pieces, for sure. Quote Link to comment
