What is bournonville and the bournonville tradition. I keep reading about it. Where can I learn more? This seems to be a key interest of Henrik, it sound really interesting. Are there any sites to look at?

You're in a good place to find out. The administrator of this site, Alexandra, will probably have more to add - she's very well versed on the choreography of Bournonville.

For basic information on the man, his life and his ballets, try www.bournonville.com

An article Alexandra wrote on the current state of the repertory and interviews of Danish dancers on Bournonville by Katharine Kanter are at http://www.danceview.org/archives/bournonville.html

Weeeell, a key interresst would be to push it a bit... :)

I like the man and what he achieved, he has made a couple of very nice ballets, and he was artistic director for the royal danish ballet for a long time...

www.bournonville.com is a good page
