Unfortunately, he is too small for most of their inventory, so I have had to sew things myself. I just finished a kilt for a "La Sylphide" variation. Who knew dealing with five yards of fabric would be so complicated? I sure didn't, but it was fun to make a new pattern, and satisfying to know I was contributing to the competition in some way. Do you sew? If so, there are a lot of costume patterns commercially available that can be adapted and embellished for the stage. The final result doesn't have to be perfection. After all, it is a costume, and no one will notice small flaws on a bounding dancer at twenty paces. Quote Link to post
