What is the difference between a Russian pas de chat and a pas de papillon?

A pas de papillion is a jete passe en arriere which starts with a backward step, a brush and ends on one leg.

The Russian pas de chat doesn't begin with backward movement and ends in 4th

I have also executed pas de papillon devant as well.  Brushing right leg grand battement devant, jumping off left leg then kicking it up (both legs off the floor) the right leg is brought down as the left is kicking up, finally right leg battements to front again whilst landing on the left leg.  Finished pose would be right leg efface devant (leg held up in last grand battement) and left leg in fondu.
