andrea.ballerina
Hey Guys, I have an ankle impingement, This caused me to have a bone bruise in my left talus bone. A month or two ago I got out of a walking cast because of my bone bruise. my right foot has always been "better" than my left, but this injury has created a very drastic difference between the two. I have very limited flexibility and range of motion in my left foot and ankle. Unfortunatly my injury is still sensitive and a sore so i cant push my foot to its limits without it hurting. any advice on slowly and safely increasing motion and flexibility in my bad foot? Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted April 26, 2013 Administrators Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 Andrea, have you had any Physical Therapy since getting out of the cast? Quote Link to comment
andrea.ballerina
No I have not. My doctor did not seem to think that it was necessary. Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted April 26, 2013 Administrators Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 It really sounds to me like that is what you need. It takes time, patience, and a good bit of work to recover movement, and it can't be forced, only worked. But you need to have someone who knows what they are doing to help you do that work.
