knobby knees

Ever since I was little my knees have always looked bent when I dance. They have gotten a lot better over time and look straighter when I am more turned out, but when I am in parallel they always look bent. Also, when we do forward port de bras, the muscles/tendons behind my knees become tight rather than my hamstrings. Any suggestions for how to stretch out the backs of my knees? Thanks!

Catwell, are your legs hypoextended, or will they actually totally straighten? If you sit on the floor, legs out straight in front and flex your feet, engaging the quad muscles, will they straighten or do they still look bent?
