musicaldancer96
Hello all. I was wondering if any Moderators, teachers, or students had any tips for keeping the hips/feet still while performing tendus to the front. When I do tendus to the back or side I am fine, but when I tendu to the front while using the proper technique (heel leads out-pinky toe leads coming in), I must slightly adjust my hips or my working heel to return to a proper fifth position. Thanks in advance, musicaldancer Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted May 6, 2013 Administrators Report Share Posted May 6, 2013 I assume you mean remaining still as you close back to 5th. That requires being lifted up out of your legs and not having your weight back in your heels. You need to think of it as coming UP to the 5th position. Quote Link to comment

I will try that in class today. Quote Link to comment
