RedRidingHood
So basically I am going away for August. My dad has long service leave so we are spending the month in New Zealand. What I was wondering was, is it safe to do a basic barre holding on to a bench, stretch and continue ballet exercises while I am away? I do not want to come back stiff... I am also planning to take my pointe shoes. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
vrsfanatic
Just a suggestion, can you look into taking class in a school while you are in New Zealand? Not knowing your level and experience in ballet, it may be fine to safely stretch a bit and do some pliés and tendus while holding onto a bench but leave the pointe shoes at home. A month without ballet is not the end of the world. Enjoy the time with your father and your family. Quote Link to comment
RedRidingHood
Unfortuanlty I don't think taking a class is an option... Thankyou for the advice though, I will leave my pointe shoes and just do some basic ballet Quote Link to comment
