ce
Technique question regarding temps de cuisse: a question came up last night- while executing the step dessus, back foot petit passe over to fifth into a sissonne, do you remain in plie? I know there are several ways to perform this step, including with degage instead of passe, but am having trouble finding details regarding the standing leg - stay in plie, or straigten/plie. (Maybe it's an RAD vs Cecchetti sort of thing.) Quote Link to comment
Administrators Victoria Leigh Posted October 1, 2013 Administrators Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 There is a level change with the petit passé, a little straightening up to go down to the plié to push more up on the sissonne. Depending on the speed, the leg might not totally straighten, but a down to down move is not right. Must be a level change from the plié to a petit passé to the next plié. Quote Link to comment
