Gaining hyperextension?

Earlier today I read online that if you stretch your oversplits long enough you can SLIGHTLY increase your hyperextension on your knees? Is this true? Thoughts? I've been taught hyperextension is something you're born with...

To answer your question, your thoughts were right. Hyperextension is bone structure and therefore something you are born with. Doing over splits will not create it, and we also do not advise doing oversplits for any reason.
