julisha
I didn't just want to post this under African Americans in Ballet because the article speaks more broadly about how ballet is changing and diversifying in other ways beyond just race/ethnicity. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rainesford-alexandra/changing-the-face-of-ball_b_4759823.html?utm_hp_ref=arts&ir=Arts Quote Link to comment

Monet
Love it!!! Now if all ballet schools could get on board with this:) Quote Link to comment
SonDoesDance
Great article!! I read it earlier and absolutely loved it!! With ballet becoming available to view on many different revenues it's expanding it's audience, and the audiences are more diverse. it's time for Companies to reflect that diversity in their company members too. Bkking1962
My DD dances at the school and Kayla is one of the nicest people out there - she was a gorgeous Tinkerbell in Nashville Ballet's Peter Pan this past October. Looking forward to hearing her speak. Quote Link to comment
