Thank you for the congrats. I know I have a tendency to over-share, but it's because I crave information to help me help my son. Since I crave information, I assume others do too, so I try to share as much information as possible in case someone finds it helpful.

I look forward to reading about other dancer's post grad plans for next year!

Just bumping up as a reminder to those who may secure Trainee positions via SI attendance this summer.

Gender:    Female
Main/Most recent training: 2 years company affiliated school followed by 1 year at a different company affiliated school
Level of school completed: high school grad
Audition method: SI audition, 
Position granted: Secured Second Company Position with monthly stipend and shoes
Position process/progress:  from an "outside" school attended SI, offered contract during SI 
Position Function: Bridge- 2nd company dancers perform alongside company dancers in main stage productions as well as in their own venue performances, and community engagement work.
Location of company: US, 
Was this contract offered at a competition or because of competition attendance? No,

Thank you all!

Her journey was a bumpy road with many potholes and her training was inconsistent through no fault of her own. We pieced together her dance education as best as we could. Even when she finally moved away to be at a company affiliated school, she chose one that went through a bunch of changes in faculty, training, and program styles. (Hence the second company affiliated school).  I can't count the number of people who have helped me on this board for the last 6 years. I have gained courage, learned cleaver ways to deal with some not so pleasant situations, gained a lot of wonderful parenting advice, learned how to make costumes, and wow so much more, plus its great for putting off any chore imaginable.

I was thrilled to finally be able to post on this thread.
