What do you do on 'off days'

Please forgive me if this is an obvious question, but I am new to ballet, and I am genuinely curious. What do dancers do when they don't have classes? For example, I am signing up for dance school, and I am planning to dance 3 days a week. What do I do the remaining 4 days when I don't have dance classes?

Working on very basic barre exercises, followed by stretching. It could also help if you could do Pilates or some other form of conditioning.

Also, whenever anything is tight or sore for me, I try to carefully do foam rolling/massage exercises. However, I would see a professional to have them teach you the proper ways to roll out and massage your body before doing it yourself. Best of luck! :)
